Materials Engineer

Materials Engineer(Full Time)

About the Role
  • Reports to the Product Development Team
  • Engineer new materials for international manufacture from concept development through to supply chain
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve a successful and cost-effective product
  • Prototype and test new products with an emphasis on manufacturability
  • Test and validate new products according to relevant standards and document the findings
  • Generate support documents ie. install guides, Marketing relevant research data
  • Liaise with customers and staff on technical matters
  • Organise and maintain shared product files within the company intranet

About the Role Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer the role will expose the right applicant to all areas of finance and accounting across Australia, USA and Europe, including but not limited to:
  • Assist with reporting of Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets for Australian and International Divisions.
  • Responsible for all International tax payments
  • Ensure all International Customers pay their obligations in a prompt and timely manner that minimizes bad debts (Accounts Receivable)
