As Slate Lite is made of natural materials, some variation in colour within and across batches is an inherent, unavoidable and enjoyable characteristic of the product. Baresque will not warrant Slate Lite for use as flooring.
Fabrication Standard wood-working tools. See Baresque Slate Lite Handling, Fabrication and Installation Guide for more details.
Refinishable No. For protection in commercial interior, bathroom and kitchen applications, use Aquamix Sealers Choice Gold Rapid.
Care Instruction When being applied on high traffic areas, such as industrial floors and outdoors, a 2 component PU sealer is recommended. (KLB 800E)
For lower traffic areas such as private homes or apartments we recommend water based
Impregnator (Slate-Lite Special Impregnator).

All natural stone surfaces, even if it is impregnated (sealed), must be wiped moist regularly. We recommend our Slate Lite Care Cleaner which contains a small amount of the Impregnator which insures the surface stays sealed. The care cleaner is mixed with water and
then can be mopped over the floor.

NOTE: Do not use acid cleaners as they attack the surface of the stone.

Always test in an inconspicuous area first. If care instructions don't deliver the expected results, cease cleaning method immediately and contact Baresque for assistance.
