|Care Instruction||Always use a clean, soft, white cloth and always test cleaning in an inconspicuous area first.
For liquid stains, blot the stain or moisture till it no longer transfers to the cloth. By attending to liquid stains in a timely manner, the need for additional cleaning agents should be minimised or even eliminated.
For dry stains including mud, allow the stain to dry and crust. When the dry stain has hardened, break up the "crusted" area first before brushing. Remove all loose particles by brushing dry stains with a clean, soft bristled brush. A brush with white or clear, nylon or polypropylene bristles is recommended. Use both a side-to-side and up-and-down motion while brushing. Should any pilling or fuzzing appear on the face of the material after brushing, this can be easily removed by shaving the affected area with a razor.
If the stain persists, combine a small amount of warm water with the brushing technique descried above to first loosen the stain. Do not saturate the material.
If the stain still does not disappear after drying, try a solution of detergent and warm water, brushing in a circular motion from the outside of the stain toward the center to avoid further spreading. Rinse with warm water, blotting often with a clean, dry paper towel or soft cloth.
If none of these steps are successful, the stain may be oil based. Proceed to a commercial cleaning solvent or bleach to remove the stain. Apply using a paper towel or soft cloth, then brush with a circular motion from the outside of the stain in towards the center. Again, do not over saturate. Rinse with water and blot area dry. For tough stains, you may have to repeat this step for than once. It is most effective to use a small amount of solvent and repeat the process if necessary.
Always test in an inconspicuous area first. If care instructions don't deliver the expected results, cease cleaning method immediately and contact Baresque for assistance.
