The recent refurbishment of Adelaide's Peppers Waymouth Hotel, was guided by a design vision that fosters a sense of tranquility and cohesion across both public and private spaces. To achieve this, material selection by Susan Pruszinski focused on finding a solution that offered both sophisticated aesthetics and exceptional functionality.
Xorel: the unifying element
Xorel emerged as the ideal solution. Its rich textures and elegant finish complemented the surrounding lighting and furniture to create a unified and calming ambience. Importantly, Xorel's remarkable durability, ease of cleaning, and efficient installation were crucial factors considering its planned extensive use throughout the hotel.
A variety of Xorel products in different hues were chosen to adorn wall panels in the reception, lobby, library, wine room, and lift cars. They also beautifully grace the bedheads in each hotel room, as well as the robe linings in the executive suites, demonstrating its versatility in sophisticated upholstery.
The final outcome is a testament to Xorel's versatility and performance, which contributed significantly to the creation of a truly remarkable interior fitout.
